Are you Innocent and Spontaneous, Are You Your Own Guru?

As a Sahajyogi  grows he starts experiencing changes in his personality. He discovers that it is not difficult to give up habits like smoking and drinking. The craze for talking and gossiping diminishes.

He starts to enjoy the silence which is natural and it is not difficult for him to become a witness of his life. New experiences are always lessons that confirm his transformation and affirm his belief that he is indeed his own Guru.

Now Sri Mataji Nirmala Devi wanted us to be our own masters and she said, when you say something about Sahajyoga  to others you can always quote me by saying 'Mataji said this and mataji said that' but as you go deeper and deeper you must be so strong as your own Guru you should be saying "I say this or I say that' because our Atma shines through in all we think, do, say and act.

Remember when we got our initiation we placed our right hand over the left heart Chakra to ask 'Am I a Pure Atma?' The dedicated Sahajis who meditate regularly, cleanse themselves daily by foot-soaking and shoe beating, attend all collective meetings begin to transform and the experiences that they have in their lives only affirm that the Atma within each one is our real Guru, which is being used as a tool by our primordial mother Sri Adishakti to play her Divine Lila.
The body, the mind and the intellect stay surrendered at the Lotus Feet of Sri Mataji, the Adishakti.

The vibrations start to flow, the cool breeze in our hands are also felt in each finger. The discrimintion develops as we begin to choose what is right and reject the wrong.
The incidents that happen in our lives help in re-establishing ourselves as true instruments in the hands of our Guru Sri Mataji Nirmala Devi who was indeed the avatar of the Primordial Mother, the Adi Shakti.

One such incident helped me understand that things that happen in our lives may help us in re-discovering our innocence and spontaneity with the help of other sahajis in the family.
Lila Lila , Life is Just a Play

I and my wife used to visit a sincere Sahaj Yogi, Dr. Gautam Sarkar, at his residence. We noticed that he was regularly feeding the stray dogs of his neighborhood by placing rotis everyday, at his gate. Atleast 20-25 rotis everyday. We were surprised to notice that the faces of these dogs were soft and beautiful as they used to gather everyday to eat the food that was being offered by a sahaj yogi.

About a year back, we shifted our residence and my wife started doing the same. She used to place 5-10 rotis for the stray dogs of our new neighborhood. We noticed a female dog who was softer and quieter than the rest. She was a young mother who was feeding her young pup. Now suddenly this female dog became pregnant but tragedy struck when she gave birth to 4 pups and died immediately afterwards. My college going son, Karan, picked up three surviving pups and asked me whether we could look after them till they grew up, at least. I refused point blank, saying we are living in rented property and we cannot. He put the young pups, who had not even opened their eyes, back from where he had picked them up.
Now, began the emotional upheaval as these orphaned and hungry pups started howling and crying for food. To read the rest of the story click HERE , and see a few images of these innocent badmash pups.
